Search String: Enter the string to search for in this field or select a previous string from the combo list (). The search string can be a simple search or a regular expression. For a binary search using special characters, click the button to the right of this field. If you create a Binary search, the string, "Binary mode -->>", is displayed. If you do not enter a Search String, the file mask, path, and filter settings are used to execute a File Find.
In the screen modeled here, we searched for the string "<body bgcolor="#FFFFFF"" across files of the filetypes *.htm and *.html (the file mask), in the path d:\example.
